Female Fighting Federation

Most of the matches of the FFF were held in Sayreville, NJ or we would travel down to Aberdeen, Maryland ...the style varied, but most matches were at close quarters so the fighters would have no place to run or hide, and thats why there were many knockouts. The style of boxing was fast and REAL, at that time very few in the industry were having real boxing offered to the public.

The pics below are from FFF VT-3: a round robin boxing tournament to get a number 1 contender to Nancy Vaughn;s title, in the 1st match, Dawn Gramegma ( in Black) defeated tall Kathy Rankin by a quick 3 round KO, then Kathy took on Diane Pzyenko and after going down early,Diane destroyed  Kathy by KO and in the final, Dawn took on Diane and beat the blonde senseless for 5 brutal rounds ending in a clear KO win for Dawn

We had many FFF boxing champions ; Nancy Vaughn held the FFF title first then Dawn Gramegma (below)  became lightweight champ. Donna Stuart held her flyweight title for 5 years before she retired it. JoJo Marrella, Margaret Mullin and our greatest champion Dorraine Hoeltz all held the FFF/USLBA middleweight title.

Our 1st champion was Nancy Vaughn, who defeated Mary Grace, Dawn Gramegma and Carleen Goldeski. In a dark match, Donna Stuart defeated Nancy Vaughn in a non title match and so did Dawn in a rematch , Dawn then went on to beat Kathy Rankin, and Diane Pzyenko (pics above) while Donna claimed the title with wins over Mary Grace and Geena Goldeski, all which were taped. Donna decided to leave, and Dawn claimed the title with her KO win over both Nancy (dark match) and Maria Fitapaldi from W.A.W.A.H.(taped match) to make her undisputed FFF champ. She had sucessive title defenses against Dorraine Hoeltz and Kim Blake......for more go to page 4
